Antique Ornate Frame Shell Cameo Brooch

A small, Victorian cameo brooch carved from shell showing a classical profile/portrait of a lady. The shell cameo is framed in a lovely gold tone mount (I think this may be Pinchbeck but could be rolled gold). 
It is in very good condition and areas of wear are consistent with the age. 
There is loss of the gold tone in some areas of the metal frame but these are not noticeable when worn. 
Hinged pin with C clasp. No cracks to the shell. 

Measures approx. 1.4 x 1.25 inches.
