1930s-1940s Carved Celluloid Deer/Stag Forest Brooch

A beautifully carved early plastic (celluloid) brooch showing a stag sitting in the forest. 
This brooch is in excellent condition- the only notable flaw is that there was originally another brass boarder in the centre, however I don't feel this is obvious and you wouldn't know there was anything missing if I hadn't mentioned it. 
Fastens with a secure trombone clasp on the pin. 

Measures approx. 1.75 inches.
