Joan Rivers Beautiful Butterfly Brooch

Butterfly Brooch by Joan Rivers.

This beautiful butterfly brooch is called made from a brushed bronze coloured metal. It is painted in ombre enamel colours featuring purples through to creams. There are aurora borealis coloured rhinestones around the edges of the wings.

Stamped 'Joan Rivers' on the back. 

Measures approx. 2.25 x 1.35 inches.

Joan Rivers was an American comedienne. She was known for her quick wit and sharp comments as well as her fantastic fashion sense. She started selling her own brand of costume jewellery in the 1990s originally through US shopping channel QVC. Her designs are inspired by high end jewellery pieces as well as animals and insects which she felt an affinity with.
